Someone call a doctor, because doing this painting killed my hands. Good gravy. That foliage. HOWEVER. Finally, with some help and encouragement I managed to get through it. Special thanks to my fiance for carrying me through and not letting me die in a deep, deep sea of despair :D
Steven Universe ala “The Swing” in homage to one of my fave painters, Jean-Honoré Fragonard.

Coming into a fandom early and watching it become an angry clusterfuck

Being in a dormant fandom that suddenly comes alive again after a new book/movie

Don’t forget about those who come in the midst of a fandom war.

Accuracy at its best
Being in a fandom and not even knowing there’s a war going on…

all of this shit…lol
When You’re Not In The Fandom But You’re Nosy AF

When you get into a fandom only to discover it’s dead

This gets better every time I see it.
Being in a dead fandom…

Or being in such a tiny fandom that it feels like youre the only one

The accuracy hurts.
When you’re in a fandom that got revived for a younger generation:

Omg
When you are the younger generation the fandom is being revived for:

THIS IS HOW YOU DO A FUCKING AD
THIS IS THE GREATEST THING TO GRACE MY FACEBOOK FEED
-Generally, you’re always happy to meet new people, but you’ll probably be uncomfortable if you have to do it without any of your existing friends with you.
-When a topic of interest comes up in conversation, you’re more than happy to talk in great detail about it. But as soon as that’s done, you’ll happily sit listening to the conversation without saying another word.
- You can often go out and have hours of fun being the life of the party, but suddenly find that your energy has dropped, and all you really want to do is go home.
-When you see things written about being an introvert, you start to relate…but then discover that you relate to the extrovert ones as well.
- Small talk is something that annoys you, because while you can do it, there are instances when it feels a bit insincere.
- Some weekends, you just need to spend some time hanging out on your own. Too much time spent alone can leave you a bit downcast, however, and you’re concerned that it’s not very productive.
- Thinking before you speak isn’t a problem for you…most of the time.
-You have a tendency to balance out whoever you’re with – if you’re with someone loud, you’ll be quieter. If they’re quiet, you’ll compensate for that.
-You’re known to be quite intuitive and good at picking up signals that other people can miss.
-Often, you just find yourself observing what’s happening around you. And at other times, you’ll be getting involved in the moment. So in the right context, you love attention, but more often than not, you don’t want to be the person everyone is looking at.
FINALLY IT ME
So I am stepping out of my comfort zone once again and hopefully make a few new friends. I have tried making friends before but I want to try again. If you want to talk feel free to message me. :)
I hereby declare this the FRIEND TRAIN!! Reblog to hop aboard!
